CALIDAD ADAPTADA Y METODOLOGÍAS APLICABLES S.L., QALMA, since its beginnings, considers that QUALITY, the ENVIRONMENT and SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK must be the differentiating and recognisable element of all the activities carried out, not as a requirement of our stakeholders, but as a mark of our own identity, under the approach of economic, environmental, labour and social sustainability.

To ensure the future and development of our organisation, and to add value to it, our objective is to be recognised by our customers as their main supplier in the provision of “Consultancy and Training in Business Management and Business Organisation: Quality, Environment, Sustainability, Occupational Health and Safety, Information Security and Data Protection”..

To this end, Qalma’s CEO establishes, implements and documents an Integrated Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

In order to achieve this objective, we focus our efforts on:

    • Assuring the Quality of the services provided, in accordance with the International Standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015, UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, through the responsibility and participation of all members of the organisation.
    • Effectively assigning roles and responsibilities.
    • Providing quality services that meet and exceed the needs of our customers.
    • Preventing potential defects before they occur, working towards “continuous improvement” and communicating.
    • Fulfilling the requirements established in the legislation in force and in the requirements applicable to our activity.
    • Continuously evaluating the Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety System in order to adapt to the requirements of our customers. We do this through:
      • Continuous reviews of the Integrated Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
      • Establishing Quality, Environment and Health and Safety at Work indicators that allow us to know the degree of efficiency of our production processes.
      • The encouragement of training for the organisation’s staff in areas of weakness that might be identified in the course of the year.
      • The search for and development of new documents that describe more clearly the activities to be carried out within the organisation (procedures, protocols, etc.) and their implementation.
      • The carrying out of periodic quality satisfaction surveys to determine the degree to which our customers’ expectations are being met.
    • The maintenance of direct contact and good communication with our customers; considering their suggestions and complaints as a source for improvement, and assessing their satisfaction as an objective to be improved at all times
    • Good management of our resources, both human (specialised personnel) and material (economic and financial), in order to optimise results by identifying the costs of “non-quality”.
  • Raising awareness and motivating the organisation’s personnel on the importance of the implementation and development of an Integrated Quality, Environment and Health and Safety at Work System.

The Quality Management System aims to offer our clients a total guarantee of our services, and to achieve the full satisfaction of the stakeholders, thanks to the fulfilment of the established requirements. To this end, the Quality Management System has as its fundamental objectives:

    • Quality management of the services provided, understood as that part of quality management aimed at PROVIDING CONFIDENCE that quality requirements will be met.
    • Fulfilment of the requirements requested by our clients, consolidating confidence in QALMA.
    • Management, effective control and CONTINUOUS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT.
  • Effective assignment of ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

The Environmental Management System aims to protect the environment by minimising the impact of our activities. We therefore commit to:

    • Making the necessary effort to identify, characterise and minimise the environmental impact resulting from service provision activities.
    • COMPLYING WITH THE ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION applicable to our activities, as well as other commitments that may be established, making an effort to protect the environment that surrounds us, prevent pollution and minimise, as far as possible, the potential environmental impact that we generate.
    • SENSITIZING, INFORMING AND TRAINING on the environmental aspects derived from our activities and on environmental management to all the company’s staff.
    • Promoting INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION with criteria of transparency, and INFORMING SUPPLIERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS of the measures adopted to protect the Environment as well as inviting them to participate in our Environmental Management, informing them of the applicable environmental aspects.
    • Considering ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS when planning modifications or extensions to the services provided or to QALMA’s facilities.
    • MAKING SUSTAINABLE USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES, promoting above all energy saving in the development of our activities and reducing as far as possible the consumption of raw materials, as well as the use of products that are more respectful of the environment.
  • MINIMISING WASTE GENERATION and managing waste by trying to recover and recycle rather than eliminating that waste.

The Occupational Health and Safety Management System aims to improve the working conditions of workers. We therefore commit to:

    • Fulfilling each and every one of the precepts established in the applicable laws and regulations on prevention and other commitments that the organisation subscribes to regarding OSH HAZARDS, through the INFORMATION, TRAINING, CONSULTATION AND PARTICIPATION of the employees.
    • Protecting the health and integrity of our personnel in relation to the dangers associated with our activities, by CONTROLLING THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH EACH PROCESS, maintaining a health and safety protection programme that allows for a better integral development.
  • Investigating and developing appropriate measures to try to prevent accidents at work and implementing the appropriate measures.
  • Ensuring that workers are informed and participate in the company. Also to give effect to their right to consultation: informing them about the specific risks of their jobs.

This Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety policy has been communicated on the one hand, to all the personnel of the organisation. It has been understood, applied and kept up to date at all levels, with regular monitoring of its effectiveness and compliance. On the other hand, it has also been communicated to suppliers and subcontractors.
